What's the story of the color in a can of paint? Color can inspire, calm or energize, and pigments play a crucial role in delivering a desired color and outcome to substrates. But pigments can do more than affect the aesthetic of the space - they can also provide desirable performance characteristics.
In this course, we will look to the past for insights into the foundation of color and how certain colors affect our mood, perception, and decision-making. We will also address the practical application of specifying color today, and how to determine the best paint system for your project.
Ashlynn earned a BS degree in Marketing from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and has enjoyed 13 years with Sherwin-Williams in the role of Designer Account Executive (DAE). She serves residential interior designers and architects in DFW and Austin districts as well as design students within those areas.
