This course will explore how the extraction of various cooking byproducts can have an impact on maintaining good indoor air quality. Discuss the minimum requirements of airflow and the factors that can affect the environment. Lastly, discover ventilation options that will adhere to various design aesthetics, while achieving efficiency and performance needs for the client’s home.

SallieAnn Westbrook is a National Product Trainer based in Central Arkansas, supporting the Central South region for BSH Home Appliances. With a professional background in interior design, she brings a deep understanding of how form and function come together in the heart of the home. A self-trained cook, SallieAnn regularly demonstrates Bosch and Thermador appliances through live cooking and entertaining, showcasing their performance, precision, and intuitive design. Growing up in the South, she views food as culture, connection, and conversation—values that shape her approach to cooking and hospitality.
