Designing luxurious, pet-friendly spaces doesn’t mean sacrificing style. FUR-ever Functional: Pet-Friendly Design Done Right teaches interior designers how to seamlessly integrate dogs into high-end homes without compromising aesthetics or durability. This course explores sustainable, non-toxic materials, functional design solutions, and breed-specific considerations to create spaces that work for both humans and their furry companions. Attendees will learn best practices for selecting pet-friendly rugs, furniture, and finishes, as well as strategies for training integration. Whether designing for one dog or multiple pets, this course ensures interiors remain stylish, functional, and—most importantly—tail-waggingly approved.

Bryce Smith, Showroom Manager of Arsin Rugs and the incoming Director At-Large for ASID Texas, has been passionately immersed in the world of fine rugs and furniture for 8 years. His journey into interior design began with a chance sales job, blending his background in Technical Theater with a newfound love for creative design. Bryce's expertise shines in merging luxury interiors with pet-friendly solutions, a skill honed through fostering over 250 dogs and running a dog boarding service from his home. In his talk, "Dogs & Design: You Can Have Both," Bryce debunks the myth that pets and high-end decor are incompatible. He shares practical training techniques, emphasizes the importance of natural materials, and champions sustainability. Bryce's dedication extends to volunteering with Operation Kindness and serving as the Dallas Chair for ASID Texas. Beyond design, Bryce is an accomplished opera singer and a member of The Dallas Opera Chorus. Fun fact: his love for dogs once led him to house eight dogs and a cat in his one-bedroom apartment, prompting a move to a spacious home with ample yard space. Bryce's insights promise to inspire and educate, proving that luxury and pet-friendly living can coexist beautifully.

Inspire! 2025 will take place in October in Dallas
