This course will explore tips for creating a home that works for all generations, with particular emphasis on the role of color, sheen and lighting on aging eyes. Finally, we will discuss tips for incorporating independent living strategies into your designs, as well as into conversations with your clients.
Princess J. Carter is native of Ridgeland, Mississippi. She earned her Fashion Design and Marketing
degree in 2016 from Alabama A & M University (AAMU). Princess was named ‘The 2016 Best Overall
Designer’ and Best workmanship award from AAMU. She began her career at Sherwin- Williams in the
year of 2017, as an Assistant Manager and now serves as the Designer Account Executive (2022) for
Dallas/Fort Worth. She is a new member of ASID and IDS and supports interior design students here in
the metroplex.
