The right textiles bring character, comfort and style to a space. This CEU gives designers an in-depth understanding about handwoven textile processes, natural fibers and their benefits, specifying for success, and treatments/finishes for natural fibers.

We will also touch upon Custom Weaving and understanding rub counts.

Virtual Studio Tour Bonus: Designers will also get a virtual studio tour to see handloom weaving in action and learn about dye-lots, weave constructions, yarns and see numerous samples. We will conduct a Q/A in the end to address common concerns and questions. Every designer will receive an informative booklet and memos of their choice.

Founder| KUFRI

Natural. Textured. Soulful.

Founder and textile designer Mili Suleman founded KUFRI, an artisan handwoven textiles and wallpapers line in 2013. With a dedicated showroom + studio by the Dallas Design District, Suleman is introducing designers to the beauty of wabi-sabi or imperfectly perfect textiles. The KUFRI mission is to champion the craft of handloom weaving, to provide employment to women and aging weavers, and to promote a conscious, beautiful life at home.
